How it gets quoted
Software is scoped before it is priced. We write down what the screen shows, where each number comes from, and what happens when a source is unavailable — and that document becomes a fixed number. Quoting from a two-line description is how projects end up with change orders.
We have built one of these for ourselves: a research dashboard that collects data on creators into a single filterable table. It is internal, so there is no public link — the honest version of showing our work here.
