Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of siteshop.dev, operated by AC Consulting LLC. Using the site means you accept them. Project work is governed by the written quote you sign; where that quote and these terms disagree, the quote wins.

Using this website

You may read, print and share the content here. You may not copy the text or design for a competing website, scrape the site to build a derivative product, attempt to break into it, or use the contact form to send unsolicited commercial messages.

Information on this site is not a binding offer

Prices shown here are starting points and typical ranges, published so you can judge whether the work fits your budget. They are not a quote. A binding price exists only in a written quote issued for your specific project.

Project terms

The following apply to every project unless the signed quote says otherwise:

• Fixed price. Each project is quoted as one fixed number agreed before work begins. There is no hourly billing. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately and started only after you approve it in writing.
• Payment. Half the quoted price is due before work starts and the remaining half before the site goes live. Exact amounts and dates are stated in your quote.
• Revisions. Two rounds of revisions are included in a website build. Further rounds are quoted before they are carried out.
• Your materials. You confirm you have the right to use the text, images, logos and other materials you supply, and you remain responsible for their accuracy and legality.
• Timelines. Stated timelines assume content and feedback arrive when agreed. Delays in receiving them move the launch date accordingly.

Ownership

On final payment, you own the website: the domain, the hosting account, the source code and the content. Registrations are made in your name from the start wherever possible. Nothing is licensed to you on a recurring basis, and cancelling a support plan does not affect your ownership or take your site offline.

Third-party components used in a build remain under their own licenses, all of which permit commercial use. Finished work may be shown as a portfolio example unless you ask in writing that it not be.

What is not promised

No specific search ranking, traffic volume, lead count or revenue figure is guaranteed. Search engines and advertising platforms are outside anyone's control. What is promised is the work described in your quote, delivered to a professional standard.

Warranty and liability

Defects in delivered work are fixed at no charge for 30 days after launch. Beyond that, the site is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any claim arising from the work is limited to the amount you paid for that project, and there is no liability for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data.

Cancellation

You may cancel a project at any time in writing. Work completed up to that point is payable, and the first payment is non-refundable once work has started. Monthly care and SEO plans can be cancelled at any time and are not refunded for the current month.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which AC Consulting LLC is organised, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of that state. The state is named in your signed quote.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top will change when they are. Terms in a signed quote are not changed by an update to this page.
